Dear Members:
GOOD NEWS!
In order to enable our members to "log on" and "stay connected," the web site, www.ubgga.com, has been paid up until August of the year 2015.
The Association is indebted to so many loyal members who worked tirelessly over the years sharing information such as Normand Allard, who authored the three editions of the genealogy books, Mary Adkinson, Eugenie Fellows, Sr. Ann Thomasine Sampson, Jay Higginbotham, Tom Boudreau, and Denise Moineau to name just a few. Our thanks to our graphic artist, Eloise Genest, who spent countless hours of work on "The Descendants," the three genealogy books, and designing our letterhead.
Most of all, we must thank our founder and leader, Robert Graveline, who, after a life-long love of history, decided in 1978 to research his ancestors and upon reaching out to others, found they had the same thirst for ancestral knowledge. Thus, the family association was born. His many carefully researched articles in our early publications inspired others to follow suit. Robert initiated and meticulously planned several memorable conventions and reunions in both Canada and the United States.
Very truly,
Thomas W. Gravelin, President
